Grace

He's done it again.
He's showered me with grace.
I was sinking into a pit.
Yet I always sought His face.

Some prayers were loud and fervent,
Some prayers made no sound.
But he was faithful to me.
He set me on higher ground.

It isn't the first time
I've sunken down this low.
But my faith was stronger
I knew He'd never let me go.

I know this mountaintop
cannot always last.
There will be mistakes
But I won't focus on the past.

Instead, I'll keep my focus
On His unfailing love.
His never ending grace
That flows down from above.
