Spring Style Challenge

Do you avoid shopping because you don't know what to choose?  Do you live in t-shirts and jeans? When you find something you like, do you buy it in every color so you don't have to shop anymore? Do your BFF's tease you about your choice of 'comfy' clothes?   Let me share a secret with you. After years of dressing and feeling 'frumpy', I decided to sign-up for a Get Your Pretty On Style Challenge with Alison Lumbatis.  What a difference this has made!   I learned so many simple tips to help me look more "put together" and most importantly, it made me feel pretty and in style!

Here is how it works:
1. Sign-up for the challenge.

2. Receive shopping list via email.
The list will have 3-5 items per category

3. Go Shopping.  (Alison encourages you to shop from your own closet first.  I was pleasantly surprised how many items on the list I ALREADY had!  I just didn't know how to pair things together or accessorize.)

4. Receive emails each with your new outfit and have fun!
Each afternoon/evening for 21 days, Alison will email you the OOTD using the pieces from the shopping list.  At the end of the challenge, you will get a PDF of all the outfits together.  It is amazing how many outfits you can create just from mixing up key pieces in different combinations.

Alison's Style Challenges are informative, fun and inexpensive.  It is like having a personal stylist each season.  Also, if you choose, you can join a private facebook group to share and view photos from others also in the challenge.  This is an awesome way to see how the Outfit of the Day (OOTD) can be adapted for all body shapes, ages and styles.

There is a new challenge for each season and then sometimes bonus challenges.  Last year I participated in the "Build Your Basics Wardrobe Challenge".  Also, after multiple requests for a men's challenge, Alison teamed up with her husband to create a short challenge for the fellas.

Get Your Pretty On is Alison's site, loaded with lots of resources to help you feel pretty. Check it out!
